Together with the Austrian Trade Commission and the Consulate General of Austria in Los Angeles, we introduced a new cultural initiative for AFM week as part of a wider DACH region effort supported in kind by German Films and the Goethe Institut. 

In collaboration with the Screenwriting Guild of Austria, we scouted a selection of the most promising unproduced Austrian screenplays and brought them to life as five short live plays performed in English by a wonderful group of actors. 

It proved to be an engaging way of building a cultural bridge by bringing new voices and stories directly to an industry audience in a live setting. 

The evening was filled with good energy, discoveries, good food and drinks, and time to connect with friends and colleagues during a full week.
